Consulting with your community
CJALtd provide extensive social inclusion throughout our consultation programme. We aim to provide positive interaction with the local community by providing our participants with bound copies of the original community designs with an overview of the projects aim and objectives. We also provide the participants with a CD of photos of the consultation process illustrating the positive interaction.
Typical consultations include nearby schools, resident associations or groups made up of participants specifically created by our clients.
Making use of Community Involvement
CJALtd are dedicated to providing regenerated areas with Public Art created by the local communities. Our consultation programme is designed to provoke positive community involvement, as a result the team are provided in return with a wealth of drawings, ideas and positive comments of what we should do.
From previous projects such as Montrose & Clarewood Doorstep Greens it is evident that there work has been amalgamated into the overall Art Features. The reaction; on completion of installation, those participants take the time to carefully view the Features curious to see if there own design has been incorporated. The result; those involved in the consultations are given a sense of ownership and the wider community are made to respect and look after the regenerated area.
