Christine Jamieson & Associates work closely with Landscape Architects, Local Councils, community groups (eg Resident Associations) and numerous funding bodies. A primary focus of the company is the enhancement of public space across the North east of England incorporating community lead art into regenerative projects.
Christine Jamieson has over 20 years experience working with communities as a project management consultant working across all social divisions. Christine has project managed ‘community workshops’ designed to bring out the best in all participants – ensuring both individual and community benefits.
Building on Christine’s background, qualifications and experience, Rob Jamieson became involved on a full time basis in 2004. With 6 years experience in community consultations as a commissioned artist, Rob’s full time involvement enabled the business to expand to its current status.
With the success of community workshops and school art projects, Christine and Rob developed the idea of having 100% community involvement in the development of art features in local regeneration initiatives such as the Millennium Green project, Montrose & Clarewood Doorstep Green’s and Morpeth Grafitti Skatepark projects.

As the company continues to expand, Christine and Rob are maintaining the original objectives:
To use local artistic talent wherever possible
To work closely with communities to create tomorrow’s history
Promoting the North-East’s heritage through art inclusion
Enhancing community art programmes with art workshops around the North East
Producing socially inclusive programmes to incorporate all social divisions
Making art a more acceptable form of expression in communities.
Raising the profile of community sourced public art in the North East
